About

Every five years, our annual ICON benefit turns into our Gala to celebrate each five-year milestone. This year’s Gala will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at the Westin Seattle, hosted by Seattle’s sweetheart and SCS’ very own, Aleksa Manila. Ticket sales for our Gala are now live with VIP and general admission tickets and tables available for purchase. All proceeds benefit the programs and services of Seattle Counseling Service.

50 years after the founding of Seattle Counselling Service, we are honored to still be serving underrepresented clients in the Seattle-area’s LGBTQ community. This is is a time of celebration because, despite the odds, we’ve come so far, and done so much as a community working together, helping to make the Seattle area one of the best places for LGBTQ people in the world.

In honor of the late Dr. Robert Deisher, founder of Seattle Counseling Service, SCS will be presenting the Dr. Deisher Founder’s Award to Marsha Botzer.

Please join us for this special milestone for an evening of fabulous performances, outstanding honorees, and a retrospective look at our local LGBTQ community over the past 50 years – all in support of the community we gratefully serve.
